Jim has been an ASIS International member since 1981 and serves as Chapter Chair for the ASIS Savannah Low Country Chapter as well as the Chair for House of Worship Committee which is part of the ASIS International Cultural Properties Council.
Jim was a speaker at the ASIS International 62nd Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Orlando, Florida on September 13th. Jim’s topic addressed Security Strategies for Hardening Soft Targets using the security risk assessment process.
Jim was a speaker on November 13 at The International Arts & Antiquities Security Forum (IAASF) which is a leading conference and exhibition covering current topics in the international protection of arts and antiquities. Jim was a speaker at the South Carolina InfraGard 2016 Winter Conference in Greenville, S.C. on December 8th addressing emerging threats utilizing the security risk assessment process. InfraGard is an FBI Sponsored organization forming a partnership with private sector personnel involved in critical infrastructure sharing best practices for protection efforts.
